A leading player in the technology cloud virtualization space, our client, with one of the world’s largest base is expanding its operations in the Asia Pacific region.  Supported by its loyal and impressive global customer base, it seeks to appoint the best talent in Asia to further penetrate and service these existing customers locally as well as to bring forth its superior technology into new clientele in the region.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Develops and expands an assigned geographical territory consisting of value-added resellers (volume and non-volume), strategic partners, prospects and customers to increase client’s market share and revenue.
  • Prospects for new business, direct customer engagement, working with solutions advisor partners to increase client’s product knowledge and efficiencies, and whenever possible, manages both an indirect customer procurement and direct customer engagement model.
  • Maintain and further develop partnerships within sales and service organizations and IT business executives within corporate environments typically responsible for medium to large opportunities or have a medium to large sized quota/territory.

 

Requirements:

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 8-12 years prior territory sales experience in a high tech environment in an indirect sales and procurement environment with a demonstrated track record of success in driving customer adoption of technology
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, including presentation skills.
  • Strong relationship building and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with functional peers across functions
  • Strong understanding of technologies and competitive offerings in the marketplace.
  • Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques.
  • An aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems.
  • Experience as a Sales Representative with a track record of exceeding assigned sales quotas in contiguous, multiple years. 
  • Demonstrated experience working with Sales organizations and technical teams.
  • Experience with developing budgets and predicting project costs.
  • A demonstrated ability to manage professional level employees
